Copenhagen-native Hedo Hydr8 releases EP2, a 4-track EP with 3 remixes, that elaborates on their signature high-energy sound. Hedo Hydr8 describes the EP, packed with grungy rave aesthetics and catchy hooks, as ‘body music to release your pent up energy’. The work revisits old-school rave sound design blended with the artist’s trademark high-tech sound.

Listeners can also look forward to three remixes by Madrid-based wunderkind Merca Bae, fellow Copenhagener Deb Foam and futuristic industrial diasphoric sounds from SN Systema.

Affected is a cultural platform and label launched in 2021. The cornerstone of the project is showcasing independent and exciting sonic and visual expressions with a focus on technology, nature and global culture.

Affected debuted with a strong visual and sonic rave experience in the heart of Copenhagen that presented Pearson Sound and LCY, as well as local stars like Peachlyfe, N.E.Girl and Deb Foam, the latter who can be heard remixing Hedo Hydr8’s new release Oral Exchange on their second EP, EP2.

After a short hiatus, affected is now back — run by Hedo Hydr8 and a select group of graphic designers, ravers and artists.
